The new dataset Imbalance Price is now published on Energi Data Service. The dataflow was available earlier than expected and the new dataset is live containing data from 2025-03-04 13.00.
Note: The data will always reflect the prevailing conditions in the market design. Before March 19th, 2025 the imbalance price equal imbalance price from Pricing Module. From March 19th, 2025 the imbalance price is based on the dominating direction.

New dataset: mFRR, manual Frequency Restoration Reserves, Capacity Market, Extra Auctions

A new dataset mFRR, manual Frequency Restoration Reserves, Capacity Market, Extra Auctions has been published on Energi Data Service.
From end of January 2025 the mFRR capacity requirement will be determined daily through a process called dynamic dimensioning, based on forecasts. However, if these forecasts underestimate the need, an extra auction may sometimes be necessary. Energinet therefore has the capability to initiate an additional capacity mFRR auction if the regular auction results in insufficient mFRR reserves for the following day.
