  •  Temporary issues affecting Imbalance Price

    We are currently experiencing technical issues that may cause temporary disruptions in the Imbalance Price dataset. Our system provider has been notified and is working on a permanent solution. In the meantime, we are doing everything we can to keep the data updated through a temporary workaround.

  •  The number of accepted API requests will be adjusted on August 19, 2025

    We are experiencing an increase in resource consumption due to unnecessary API calls. As our goal is to allocate resources toward delivering more valuable data rather than supporting non-valuable usage, we will adjust the number of accepted API requests.

    As of August 19, 2025, the number of accepted requests per unique IP address will be adjusted to 1 request per dataset per minute.

    The API Guide has been updated accordingly.

  •  New dataset: Countertrade in 15-Minute Resolution

    2025-08-12

    As part of the transition to 15-minute Market Time Units (MTU), the current dataset Countertrade Procured in Intraday will be discontinued and replaced by a new dataset with the same title but a different URL: Countertrade Procured in Intraday.

    Key dates and changes

    • Column names have been updated - “Hour” columns are now “Time” columns.
    • As of 2025-08-12, the new dataset is available on Energi Data Service without data, allowing users to prepare for the upcoming transition.

  •  Connection Points in the Electricity Grid not updating

    2025-08-08

    The dataset Connection Points in the Electricity Grid is currently not updating due to source data not being available. The data was last updated in March 2024.

    We are working on resolving the issue.

  •  DSO Project: First datasets on Private Consumption and Heating Categories published

    The first datasets of the DSO Project (see below) are now available without data. They are related to the new organization on Energi Data Service: DSO Electricity.

  •  DSO Project: New datasets on electricity consumption and production

    2025-07-16

    The Danish distribution system operators (DSOs) are supplying Energi Data Service with data on consumption and production in accordance with the regulation Bekendtgørelse om frisættelse af eldata.

    As a result, several new datasets published on Energi Data Service during 2025 will become the responsibility of the DSOs. Also, new methods for anonymizing data will be implemented.

    The new datasets will replace corresponding existing datasets, which will be deleted (see list below). The new datasets will contain historical data.

  •  The dataset Monthly Allocated Calorific Values will be discontinued on September 1st

    The dataset Monthly Allocated Calorific Values will be decommissioned on the 1st of September 2025. While the already published data will still be available, the data is no longer considered accurate or suitable for settlement purposes as previously stated. If you require data regarding the calorific value within a specific area, please contact EVIDA.

  •  The dataset Transmission Lines will be discontinued

    2025-05-20

    Due to data not being available for publication and mixed resolutions of data, the dataset Transmission Lines will be Discontinued on June 10, 2025.

    Data after October 2024 will be deleted:

    In connection with the transition to Flow-based in October 2024, the method for calculating congestion income was changed. Data after October 29, 2024, will be deleted to ensure correct historical data.

  •  Updated: Build Report will be updated

    Update 2025-06-12: As the transition to 15-minute MTU in the day-ahead market has been postponed, the month below has been updated.

    Due to the transition to 15-minute Market Time Units (MTU), Build Report may provide incorrect data. To prevent data misrepresentation Build Report will be updated to ensure accurate and consistent data representation. Specifically, it will not be possible to build report with data of 15-minute resolution. As a result from October it will no longer be possible to create a report with Elspot Prices. Instead we refer to the new dataset containing Elspot Prices which will be published in June.
