"North Sea" rows in the dataset Entry/Exit Gas Flow and Quality will be combined
2024-10-11
On November 15th, 2024, rows containing "North Sea" and "North Sea Entry" in column “Entry/exit point” in the dataset Entry/Exit Gas Flow and Quality will be combined into a single row for each timestamp. Data will be corrected backwards.
New capacity market for aFRR DK1 means new data
2024-09-04
In October, a new capacity market for aFRR DK1 will be introduced. Data will be added to the existing dataset aFRR, Automatic Frequency Restoration Reserves, Nordic Capacity Market Since the existing dataset includes "Nordic" in its title, it is necessary to change the title to: aFRR, Automatic Frequency Restoration Reserves, Capacity Market. However, the database name and URL will not be affected.
 Updates of Gas Composition datasets
2024-09-04
Due to the decommissioning of the model used for the "Methane Number" column, no additional values will be uploaded after October 1, 2024. However, the historical data will be preserved. This affects the following datasets:
- Gas Composition and Quality for Transmission
- Gas Composition and Quality for Transmission, Monthly
- Gas Composition and Quality for Transmission, Yearly
The following only affects the dataset [Gas Composition and Quality for Transmission](https://www.energidataservice.dk/tso-...
New calculation of self-consumption for solar cells
2024-09-04
A large part of the production from solar cells is used as “Self-Consumption” in the household or company, without passing the electricity meter. Since the first major roll-out of solar cells, Energinet has estimated the self-consumption by calculating the approximated total production, and then extract the actual measured production.
The model that calculates the production data on Energy Data Service was originally based on the small installations, but as the large field plants make up a significant share, the model has estimated the production too low. At the same time, curtailment was not taken into consideration, whereby production was too high in specific hours. Since total consump...
