The CO2 forecast in the dataset CO2 Emission Prognosis has for some time diversed from the actual calculations of CO2 emissions in Declaration Grid Emission and Declaration Transmission Emission. In the past, emissions were mainly confined to central power plants, but this has changed over time resulting in the adjustments. New data source for "Imbalance price" in Regulating and Balance Power expected in January

On January 6th, 2025, Energinet expects to introduce a new design for calculating imbalance prices. The go-live of new imbalance prices is dependent on approval by the Danish NRA, Forsyningstilsynet, and will only occur if an approval is granted on time. The new imbalance price will be calculated at the max/min of mFRR energy activation price and volume weighted average of the aFRR energy activated price.
The new imbalance price is expected to be available in the dataset Regulating and Balance Power, Overall Data during January, 2025.

Since 28 Okt 2024, data between Nordic markets (DK1-->DK2, DK1-->SE3, DK1-->NO2, DK2-->SE4, DK2-->DK1) in Transmission Lines are missing due to a data source issue. We are actively working on resolving the issue.

A new dataset aFRR, Automatic Frequency Restoration Reserve, Energy Activated has been published on Energi Data
In October Energinet introduced the aFRR EAM and connected to PICASSO (Link). Price data for the activated aFRR energy will now be published on the EDS platform. "North Sea" rows in the dataset Entry/Exit Gas Flow and Quality will be combined

On November 15th, 2024, rows containing "North Sea" and "North Sea Entry" in column “Entry/exit point” in the dataset Entry/Exit Gas Flow and Quality will be combined into a single row for each timestamp. Data will be corrected backwards.
